Chapter-12 |I hate you|

Ekansh POV:-

After that sensual kiss, I still couldn’t believe it. She—my kitten—kicked me. Literally kicked me in my private part.

The pain burned, but what hurt more was her rejection. By the time I composed myself, she was already gone, leaving me burning with anger and longing.

“Soon, Ishani,” I muttered, clutching the edge of the bed. “Soon, you’ll be mine. Forever.”

A knock broke my thoughts. I opened the door to find Siddh standing there, his arms folded, eyes sharp.

“Ekansh… what are you planning?” His voice was stern, laced with warning.

I smirked. “Nothing. Just thinking about how I’ll make her mine.”

His jaw tightened. “So what will you do? You know very well Avi loves his sister more than anyone. If he finds out—”

I cut him off with a chuckle. “Hnn… I know. That’s why I’ll use his weakness.”

Siddh’s brows furrowed. “What weakness?”

I patted his shoulder and laughed lowly. “You’ll know soon. Just wait and watch.”

He sighed, shaking his head. “Whatever you do, I don’t care… but Ekansh, don’t hurt her again. Please.” His voice softened for the first time, genuine concern in his tone.

I watched him leave. So he cares for her too…

My smirk returned. “I won’t hurt her, Siddh. But I’ll never let her go either.”

---

Two days passed. Two days of her avoiding me like a shadow. Whenever she saw me, she turned her path. She ate in her room, stayed locked away, not even daring to look my way.

But that didn’t matter. Tomorrow would change everything. Tomorrow I would take her with me—whether she liked it or not.

I stared at her photo on my phone, tracing her smile with my finger.

“You’ll never escape, kitten Tomorrow, you’re mine.”

I dialed Siddh. He picked up almost instantly.

“Siddh, ready the jet. We’re leaving tomorrow.”

He hesitated. “Only the two of us, or…?”

“No,” I said firmly, cutting him off. My lips curled into a dangerous smile.

“My kitten too.” And I ended the call.

---

That evening, we sat in the hall—me, Avi, Anuj, Siddh, and Samir—our old gang together, laughing, teasing, drinking. But I wasn’t really present. My mind was on her.

Finally, I leaned back casually and announced,

“Avi, I’m leaving today.”

He frowned. “Why? Is your work done already?”

“Yes… soon.” I smirked, my devilish grin confusing him.

Samir tilted his head. “You’re leaving for New York? Or to your mansion?”

“To my mansion.” Then I added, my tone calm but cutting,

“And by the way, Avi… call your sister. She’s coming with me.”

The laughter died instantly. All three of them stared at me, stunned.

“What?” Avi’s voice hardened.

“Why?”

“Call her first,” I insisted.

Confused but suspicious, Avi called her. Within minutes, Ishani descended the stairs, her eyes lowered, her steps slow. She walked straight to her brother, never sparing me a glance.

“Choti, are you going with Ekansh? You didn’t tell me?” Avi asked, his tone a mixture of confusion and hurt.

Her lips parted to answer, but I cut in smoothly, “She doesn’t know yet. And let me make one thing clear—I love her. And she has loved me for two years.”

Her eyes widened in horror. Everyone’s heads snapped toward her.

Avi’s face darkened instantly. He marched toward me, grabbed my collar, and growled,

“WATCH YOUR MOUTH, EKANSH! Just because you’re my friend doesn’t mean you can speak rubbish about my sister!”

I shoved him back, fixing my shirt. “Your little sister never told you about me?”

His eyes shot to Ishani, searching for the truth. She shook her head slightly, silently pleading.

I walked toward her slowly, bending slightly to whisper, “Oh baby… you didn’t tell your brother about us? Naughty.”

Her hands clenched. “I DON’T LOVE YOU!” she shouted coldly, her voice trembling.

I chuckled, unfazed. “Ooo… really? Then let’s show them.”

I pulled out my phone, flipping it toward Avi—the screen filled with pictures of me and Ishani together. Some stolen, some forced, some too intimate to be explained.

Avi’s expression turned murderous. His eyes blazed as he shoved the phone back at me and roared, “WHAT IS THIS, CHOTI?”

Ishani flinched, tears filling her eyes. “It’s n-not tru-e… bhai-ya…” Her breath came in shallow gasps.

“Then what is this?” Avi’s voice cracked with rage. His wife, Sushree, grabbed his arm, trying to calm him.

Anjali ran to Ishani, holding her trembling shoulders. Ishani’s whole body shook with fear, her sobs echoing.

“Enough!” I snapped, stepping forward. “My baby is scared. Don’t shout at her.” I reached to pull her into my arms, but she shoved me back.

“LEAVE ME! I am NOT your baby!” Her voice broke, but her eyes blazed with anger.

I smiled darkly. “Do you not love me? Say it.”

Silence. Everyone watched her. I knew she couldn’t lie. She still loved me, deep inside.

Finally, her lips moved. “No.” Her voice was sharp, harsh.

I tilted my head. “Look at me and say it again.”

Her teary eyes lifted to mine—full of rage, pain, hatred.

“Yes, I loved you back then!” Her voice cracked. “But not now. NOW I HATE YOU! You lost my love when you kidnapped me… when you forced me… when you—” Her words broke, sobs choking her.

The hall froze. Every family member had gathered now, shocked, horrified. The truth was out.

My jaw clenched. My fists tightened. Yes, I had done wrong. But giving her up? Never.

Suddenly, Anuj’s fist crashed against my jaw, sending me stumbling. Blood pooled in my mouth.

“I thought you were my best friend!” Avi’s voice shook with fury. “How could you do this? To my sister?!”

I wiped the blood from my lip, standing tall again. “First of all, I didn’t know she was your sister. And second… even if I did, I’d still love her.”

Ishani glared at me through her tears. “It’s not love, Ekansh. It’s obsession!”

I smirked, eyes locked on hers. “Love. Obsession. Call it whatever you want. I don’t care. All I know is… you are mine. Forever.”

The silence that followed was suffocating. Everyone’s faces were pale with shock, fury, or fear.

But in my heart, there was only one truth.

No matter what it took, no matter who stood in my way—

Ishani was mine. And I wasn’t letting her go.
